# SafeTunnel: Installation Guide

Install the hardware. Confirm every view. Verify the complete system.

Use this guide to prepare, install, and commission LiveReach SafeTunnel at your wash tunnel. Work through the seven stages in order, and record the results in the installation worksheet.

**You’ll need:** a site lead, an installer, your network administrator, and your LiveReach deployment contact. Include a qualified controls installer if you are fitting a relay controller.

## How the components connect

The cameras connect to the **LiveReach NVR Appliance**. The NVR and **LiveReach SafeTunnel Appliance** must be able to communicate. If fitted, the **relay controller** connects over the network to SafeTunnel; its control wiring is a separate part of the site installation.

## Keep a record from the start

It includes the network plan, a repeatable camera record, and commissioning sign-off. Keep the completed copy with your site records.

**Installation and commissioning are separate milestones.** Mounting cameras and seeing video is not the final test. Commissioning is complete when every required camera is confirmed in SafeTunnel and all applicable functional tests pass. If configuration or testing is unfinished, record **commissioning pending**.
